Bottle Free, Pink Eye and a Surprise Party

WooHo!!! The last bottle Bradlee had was Friday night so I can say he is "officially" bottle free. Anyone need any bottles???

Pink eye again. Bradlee's eyes do look better but woke up this morning and Preslee's eye was watery and matted AGAIN. I've called the dr. to see if she will refill the eye drop prescription. That stuff is gold right now in our house.

I think I am beginning to stress over the surprise party for my Dad on Sat. The count is up to 49 people (not including kids). The weather is supposed to be decent so that is good.

The Things They Say . . .

Within the past few weeks we have welcomed a few new animals to our family: Froggy the tadpole; Anna, America, and Amy the lady bugs; and Woody and Aerial the goldfish (they live in the whiskey barrel in the backyard). Well, we came home yesterday to find that Woody, Aerial and Froggy have gone to a better place (I told Ryan we can only handle two and four legged creatures (heehee). We sat Pres and Bay down to tell them that W, A and F have gone to heaven to be with Granny. They both struggled with the idea. We told them that we would get some more fish and frogs in the near future after we find out why they passed on. Pres of course said "ok." Not even within 5 seconds after digesting the news Baylee asked the question "well where did the fish go." I told her we flushed them down the toilet. She so curiosly asked "why is Granny in the potty." Gotta love em.

First Doctor Visit As A Family

Well I had originally scheduled Baylee's 4 yr check-up and Bradlee's 1 yr check-up for yesterday. Wake up yesterday morning and Preslee's left eye is swollen and matted shut. Lovely pink eye. So I called to see if the Dr. could see him while I am there with the other two - thank goodness she could. We were all waiting so patiently when the nurse comes out the door and calls "Snodgrass Family." It then occurred to me that up to this point I had never taken all three of them to the doctor at the same time. I had taken Bradlee and Baylee before but never all three of them together. Thanks Mom so much for going. I am super mom ya know but only have so many arms and hands when one needs to go potty and one needs to be weighed and another needs to have their immunizations. All in all it was a good visit. We were only there for 2 hours but constantly doing something.

Bradlee is a little underweight (due to his ear infections and lack of eating in December). He is back on one formula glass per day to fatten him up. Took Bradlee to the ENT yesterday afternoon. He said there is some fluid behind his left ear but nothing to worry about - his hearing and pressures tested fine. I take him back in six weeks for a re-check.

Baylee looks like she is growing on the path of being maybe 5 foot 1 inch. Wow an inch taller than Mommy.

Houston . . . We Have Two More Teeth

Yep that's right Bradlee finally got his two top teeth in. I thought they would never come in. It is so odd seeing him laugh and actually see some pearly whites in there. Bring on the hamburgers!!

Quick Update:
Preslee: Started back to school from the Christmas break and seems to be adjusting back into the routine pretty good. He is struggling writing his numbers, especially 2 and 5, but I know he will pull through. He got to ride his four-wheeler this weekend all by himself. Such a big boy (sniff, sniff).

Baylee: She is just as sassy as ever. Dance starts back this week - I know she is sooo looking forward to it. Her summer recital will be June 13th and 14th so mark your calendars now.

Bradlee: Recovering from yet another ear infection. The pediatrician suggested to follow up with an ENT since this is his second infection within a month. I'm hoping he will not have to get tubes put in but we will see (the appointment is in a couple of weeks).

Hopefully I can get through this week without a doctor office visit. Seems like I have been sitting in a doctor's office at least once a week for the past two months. Oh the joys of the season!!

After Christmas Note

I hope everyone had a great Christmas the kids sure did. Santa was extra special to them, bringing them all a new "ride." Yes even Bradlee got a four wheeler just like his big brother.

Preslee was so good this year that Santa brought him a Kawasaki four-wheeler. He is ready to go ride with his dad and "shoot some deers." He has been out of school for a week now. He goes back to the allergist tomorrow but seems to be doing much, much better.

Since Baylee was such an angel this year Santa brought her a Barbie Cadillac (with radio included). They sure didn't have toys like this when I was her age. She was so excited and grateful. She is such a doll driving in it. Look out boys!!!

Bradlee got a four wheeler too just like his big brother (except he uses his feet instead of gasoline). He has FINALLY cut his third tooth. Hopefully that is the cause of the fever. He is running everywhere and into everything. I don't remember Pres and Bay being this active at such a young age. Maybe it's just that I'm older now???

Thanks Mom and Dad for watching the kids during the Christmas break. I appreaciate it so much. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family. Hope everyone has a great New Year!!!!!

So We Weren't in the Clear and a Deer

I ended up taking Bradlee back to the Dr. on Friday - he has an ear infection in his left ear. Poor baby. They gave him an antibiotic injection in each leg and a prescription for a steriod to take for 5 days. I take him back to the Dr. today. He seems to be better (no fever) but in a very clingy mood. I swear he is more like Baylee everyday. On the other hand Pres and Bay are doing good.

Ryan took the kids to Caldwell this weekend and he shot a "spike." Here are some picts (thanks Willene).
