After Christmas Note

I hope everyone had a great Christmas the kids sure did. Santa was extra special to them, bringing them all a new "ride." Yes even Bradlee got a four wheeler just like his big brother.

Preslee was so good this year that Santa brought him a Kawasaki four-wheeler. He is ready to go ride with his dad and "shoot some deers." He has been out of school for a week now. He goes back to the allergist tomorrow but seems to be doing much, much better.

Since Baylee was such an angel this year Santa brought her a Barbie Cadillac (with radio included). They sure didn't have toys like this when I was her age. She was so excited and grateful. She is such a doll driving in it. Look out boys!!!

Bradlee got a four wheeler too just like his big brother (except he uses his feet instead of gasoline). He has FINALLY cut his third tooth. Hopefully that is the cause of the fever. He is running everywhere and into everything. I don't remember Pres and Bay being this active at such a young age. Maybe it's just that I'm older now???

Thanks Mom and Dad for watching the kids during the Christmas break. I appreaciate it so much. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family. Hope everyone has a great New Year!!!!!

So We Weren't in the Clear and a Deer

I ended up taking Bradlee back to the Dr. on Friday - he has an ear infection in his left ear. Poor baby. They gave him an antibiotic injection in each leg and a prescription for a steriod to take for 5 days. I take him back to the Dr. today. He seems to be better (no fever) but in a very clingy mood. I swear he is more like Baylee everyday. On the other hand Pres and Bay are doing good.

Ryan took the kids to Caldwell this weekend and he shot a "spike." Here are some picts (thanks Willene).

Are We in the Clear?

I think we are all finally well or at least on to the road to recovery. Preslee is down to one breathing treatment at night. Baylee is completely off her cough med and has finished her antibiotic. Bradlee is my straggler. He still takes his congestion med, antibiotic and breathing treatment but is doing muuuuuuuuuuuch better. He will actually let you put him down so he can run wild as opposed to carrying him everywhere. Has started back eating solid foods (#2 of course and really well from MawMaw) and will drink a little bit of whole milk. Now the next objective is to get him off the bottle. If I remember correctly Pres and Bay were off around 15-16 months or earlier so keep your fingers crossed.

I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner. I'm not as prepared as I was last year.
Last Year: Come October I had bought everything and had it wrapped. In Nov we had tree up, all the decorations out, and were just waiting the arrival of little bubba.

This Year: We just put the decorations on the tree. I'm going to get out the rest this weekend. I have only wrapped 7 presents and still have a handful of gifts left to get. What is wrong with me? Oh yeah I remember - full time mommy to 3 young ones and full time worker can get pretty stressfull. Anyone else feel my stress??

Baylee the Ballerina

Wow what a fun weekend we had. Baylee had her first recital Saturday. She was a Christmas Tree in Steps Dance Company's performance of "Santa's Toy Chest." They performed in the auditorium of Sam Rayburn High School (Yvonne's alma mater). She did such a great job and we are so proud of her. She definitely is following in Mommy's footsteps (except she doesn't bite her bottom lip during her performance). Thanks Annette and Mrs. Faye for doing her hair and makeup.

Bradlee's Birthday

Sorry so late on posting this. Thanks everyone for coming on such short notice on the date change. As many of you know my Granny passed away and her funeral was held on the day we originally planned for Brad's party. We had to have the party the next day - Sunday. Bradlee says thank you for all the great clothes and toys!!! Here are some picts of his special day.

My First Blog

Well here we go. My first attempt at blogging. I've tried other sites (the one when Bradlee was first born and myspace) and just never kept up with it so I figured "hey why not."

What's been going on? My entire house has been sick. Preslee has had bronchitis, Baylee has strep throat, and Bradlee viral/sinus infection. Does it ever end????? They each have three types of antibiotics, breathing treatments, cold meds, nose sprays and a partridge in a pear tree. Guess it is that time of year. Our kitchen countertop looks like a pharmacy.

Here what's been happening:

Preslee: He has been doing much better in the big "K." The majority of the time he gets happy faces. However we do have those days where he has issues during lunch time (calling people names and crawling under the table).

Baylee: Her first dance recital is this weekend. Dress rehersal Friday night and two performances on Sat. Hopefully she will not get stage fright (keep your fingers crossed). I am soooo proud of my little girl. It is so neat to see her follow in my footsteps.

Bradlee: Ok the kid is full on running and it just cracks him up. He is so short. Looks like a little elf walking around. However only two teeth. I keep thinking any day now but nope.

Let me know what you think of this and any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Joy
